Are you an events management expert with a passion for creating memorable experiences? The Bank of Papua New Guinea, is seeking a skilled Events Specialist to join our Events, Marketing, and Publication Unit. As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in planning and executing events, engaging stakeholders, and promoting our milestone celebrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on events and initiatives to the Events, Marketing, and Publication Unit.
  • Develop comprehensive events strategies to support our strategic objectives.
  • Plan and organize events, including venue selection, cost assessment, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate vendors and suppliers, ensuring seamless execution of events.
  • Develop event concepts and themes that align with our vision and mission.
  • Advise on the production of promotional materials to enhance event marketing.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Provide on-site support and manage event logistics.
  • Ensure all events strategies effectively communicate our Mission, Values, and Vision.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of events, marketing, and publication activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in events management.
  • Collaborate with key personnel and teams to develop impactful promotional strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions on events management strategies for staff.
  • Collaborate with event stakeholders for seamless coordination.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record and familiarity with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in events management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of events management strategies and digital content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Contract Terms:

This engagement is for a period of six months with the possibility of an extension.
