The Bank of Papua New Guinea (BPNG) is seeking experienced designers and tailors to create a new corporate wardrobe for its staff.

Interested Designers and Tailors are to provide a documented ‘Expression of Interest’ and bids which should include details of design and fabrication process, as well as contact information.

 All submissions should be made with the title “EOI – Designing and Tailoring Services”. The new wardrobe should be composed of corporate suits and professional attire suitable for both men and women, reflecting the professional nature of BPNG and our commitment to serving Papua New Guinea.

Submissions should   either be hand-delivered to Security Front Desk at BPNG’s main building – ToRobert Haus, Port Moresby or emailed to [email protected] by Friday 21 July  2023 at 4:00pm. All “EOI must be addressed to:

As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in planning and executing communications, engaging stakeholders, and promoting our milestone celebrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on media and e-communications initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive communications and branding plans to support our strategic objectives.
  • Create engaging content such as press releases, fact sheets, and videos to enhance our PR efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective media and communications strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of our media and communications activities.
  • Ensure all content aligns with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Implement our social media strategy and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions on media, design/branding, and communications strategies.

Qualifications:

  • The Individual or the Head of the Agency must have a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in a related field such as communications, design/branding, public relations, marketing or journalism.
  • Proven track record in media, communications, and design fields.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Contract Terms:

This engagement is for a period of six months with the possibility of an extension.

  • Develop event concepts and themes that align with our vision and mission.
  • Advise on the production of promotional materials to enhance event marketing.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Provide on-site support and manage event logistics.
  • Ensure all events strategies effectively communicate our Mission, Values, and Vision.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of events, marketing, and publication activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in events management.
  • Collaborate with key personnel and teams to develop impactful promotional strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions on events management strategies for staff.
  • Collaborate with event stakeholders for seamless coordination.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record and familiarity with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in events management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of events management strategies and digital content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Contract Terms:
