Governor Mr. Loi M. Bakani’s Press Releases on Kina Automated Transfer System (KATS) and Global Money Week

The Bank of Papua New Guinea and all commercial banks commenced using Real Time Gross Settlement System, a component of Kina Automated Transfer System (KATS), to improve interbank financial payments for their customers. This means all high value financial payments conducted between the banks are now done instantaneously or in real time.

The Governor also announces the press release on Global Money Week in partnership with commercial banks and financial institutions to empower the young generation to be confident, responsible and skilled economic citizens.
